Emhlangeni Archery & Fishery day resort and venue is just 45 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport, its ideally situated for visitors from Pretoria, Johannesburg, the East Rand, Delmas, Bronkhorstspruit, Middelburg, Witbank and the surrounding areas.

Emhlangeni started with a single dam and as expectations rose from our loyal visitors we expanded our fishing experience to suit the whole family. Although our focus is Big Mouth Bass & Rainbow Trout we also host weddings and functions at our venue, with options of catering, decor, live entertainment and management services.

Emhlangeni greets you within a nature environment, where reeds and water lily fly fishing dams are complimented by the wildlife, Blesbuck, Springbuck and beautifully thatched lapas as well as a pool and modern ablution facilities.

One of our most loved lapas is located on an island in the middle of crystal clear fishing water, accessed by a wooden bridge. For people preferring more privacy this is a perfect spot, this lapa can also be used as the chapel area when making your vows on that special day.

At Emhlangeni we bring a little outdoor experience to your door step. The sounds of a variety of bird species as well as the African sun to soak up next to the refreshing pool and the smell of a braai is more than enough to keep the children busy whilst relaxing and fishing. Once you visit this venue it will bring you back time and time again.

If you are one of the many anglers that enjoy the calm waters and share a passion for fly fishing, here is where you will be hooked on our pride and joy, our Big Mouth Bass and Rainbow Trout. We breed our own stock and ensure that there will always be the best to fish from.

Winter is generally the best time for Trout fishing and summer for Bass fishing. We operate on the basis of catch and release as well as on a purchase per kilogram basis.
