4X4 DAY – April 4, 2017 BIG success story!

With 34 entries this day was a first of it’s kind at Emhlangeni. With so many entries it was a BIG success and it also ensured a lot of action for the spectators present.

Mr. & Mrs. Muller Wedding – 9 January 2016

After a few days of rain before Ruan and Dianna’s wedding more rain was expected for their Big Day, and did it rain…

It started out with a sunny yet cloudy day on 9 January, but the bride’s wish was made when she arrived and walked over the bridge to our island lapa, but then the expected happen and the heavens opened up and blessed their wedding and future with rain. After about a hour’s rain they were able to capture the most breath-taking moments of their special day.

Mr. & Mrs. Lombard Wedding – 3 October 2015

On the beautiful morning of Saturday, 3 October 2015 TJ and Michelle started getting ready for their Big Day, a day they have been planning for months a day they planned to spend with friends and family.

TJ & Michelle had a country themed wedding with Sunflowers, Boots and everything natural.

Year End Function 28 Nov 2014:

This Year End Function was a huge success, the people enjoyed every moment of it!

 

Rendezvous @ Emhlangeni:

Emhlangeni  Archery & Fishing hosted their first Rendezvous @ Emhlangeni weekend on 21 and 22 March 2014.

We wanted to create a platform for small and medium businesses and boost the local economy.  It was a fun weekend with activities for the whole family. Activities included heli-flips, fishing and entertainment for the children, demonstrations by Herman Roos from Boswa Survival, many exhibitors – which included 4 x 4 vehicles, hunting and camping gear and live entertainment to keep the whole family busy.

We are changing the format of the event and also moving the date. Prior to the next Rendezvous @ Emhlangeni there will be a number of smaller family braai days, starting during November 2014 and followed up every third month with the next big Rendezvous @ Emhlangeni at the end of October 2015.

Exhibitors who supported us in March 2014 will get first option to pre-book their space for the 2015 event.

 

This is a yearly event, where exhibitors display and sell their wares in a classy and selective atmosphere.

Proper parking facilities, security, medical services, a proper event plan and suppoprt services are provided and the event is organised and approved in terms of all legal requirements.

During this event, held over 2 days over a weekend, there will be plenty to do and see, catering for the whole family.

Live Entertainment and a well-stocked bar will be supplied and any form of alcohol must be purchased at the venue and not brought onto the premises.

Due to the nature of the venue as well as the event, no pets or domestic animals will be allowed onto the premises during the event.

 

Private Functions / Christmas & Year End Functions / Birthday Parties:

The venue is perfect for Year end functions for companies planning something different. In summer time this is a perfect venue for celebrating special occasions, birthday parties and more.

There are various options available to book elements of the venue or the venue as a whole.

Our Event Planner will coordinate your  function from start to finish.

We offer to also assist with catering, entertainment and artists. This is however optional.

 

Weddings:

Looking for something different? If an outdoor and tranquil nature set-up is your dream wedding venue, then Emhlangeni Archery & Fishing is ideal.

The Main Lapa and Island Lapa can be booked exclusively for this purpose. The Island Lapa is perfect to use as a Chapel. Depending on the number of guests the Main Lapa will be perfect but in addition we also offer stretch tent options, should you plan a bigger wedding.

Our fully qualified Events Planner will assist you from start to finish. We currently do not offer catering and bar services for weddings but we reccommend our preferred suppliers and it presents no impediments.

We also have package offerings available which include the venue, catering, bar service, décor, music DJ, artists, flowers, cake and photos.

Viewing of the venue is done on pre-arrangement.
